‘A' – PERIODICALS (MAGAZINES / JOURNALS)
The contents of the periodicals are selected by the sponsoring Department or the Ministry. The Deputy Commissioner of Police of the State (Licensing) who after scrutiny, recommends for approval of the title to the Registrar of Newspapers of India. Then, after critical examination of the proposed names, he accords necessary sanction and accords clearance. Title of a periodical is recommended and allotted by the RNI.
